About the product

Wound care is still measured with a physical ruler. By hand, and by eye.

Inovasity uses deep learning to transform chronic wound care into technology that puts clinicians first.

My role was to design every clinician-facing touchpoint, from navigation to documentation.

Results

Implementing a tab system for simplified navigation.

Building clinical trust by following industry design standards and modern healthcare conventions, also allowing for a faster learning curve.

Turning real clinical frustrations into concrete design solutions through decisions grounded in research from 8+ extensive interviews with nurses and healthcare professionals.

Reflections

Good design comes from good listening.

I came into this project knowing very little about wound care. Learning the clinical context taught me that effective healthcare design starts with listening to experts and understanding their world before designing solutions.

Using AI prompting as a skill.

Using Claude allowed me to be deliberate with how I approached problems. I learned to use Claude as a design partner for ideation while validating my decisions through research and clinician feedback.

Bringing our product to the public.

Presenting our product to clinicians, mentors, and investors reinforced my love for design. The conversations, exchange of ideas, and excitement around my work showed me exactly why I became a designer: creating products that connect with people.
